Marriage isn’t just about two people tying the knot, it’s about the community two people bring together.
THE DETAILS
Schedule
Doors open at 4pm. The ceremony will begin at 5pm. We’ll keep things short and sweet, and start partying as soon as we say “I do!” We’ll dance into the evening until 9pm. From there, we’ll move over to a nearby bar. Stay tuned for details.
Location
The Historic Overlook House is a non-profit community center in the Overlook Neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. While most of the wedding will be outdoors, there is AC inside the Historic Tudor house when you need to take a breather.
Weather & Attire
June in Portland will hopefully be sunny and warm, perfect weather for a summery garden party. Dress in bright, colorful, comfortable, semi-formal clothes. Think Anthropologie meets Gucci. Need some inspiration? Check out our mood board here!
Food & Drink
This is a Potluck-style garden party. It takes a village, so please let us know if you can bring food or drink. To those up for the challenge, we’ll send a spreadsheet out soon! We’re sad to say hard liquor is not allowed on the premises.
Dogs
No dogs are allowed at this event. As much as we love our furry friends, we promise you’ll be much more relaxed and present without them!

For those traveling from far away to celebrate with us, we appreciate you going the extra mile! We’ve recommended some hotels below. No need to bring any food or drink to the wedding or brunch. Just your wonderful selves.
